Useful Information

AGE

Minimum age to rent is 21. A surcharge of $25.00 per day will be imposed to renters between the ages of 21-24. Additional driver fee is $11.00 per day. Spouses drive free of charge

Drivers License

Renters must present a valid driver's license and a major credit card at the time of rental. International renters must present a valid driver's license as well as a valid passport. Local renters must provide a current utility bill and proof of employment at the time of pick up. Minimum age to rent is 21.

EARLY RETURN

Early Returns : The rate will increase by USD/20.00 per day, not to exceed the estimated total at the time of rental.

Late Returns : The rate will increase by USD/25.00 per day each day the vehicle is kept beyond the return date at the time of rental.

GAS

Vehicles must be returned with the same level of fuel as they had at pick up time in order to avoid a refueling surcharge. The fee is $9.50 per gallon needed. Economy Rent a Car has initiated an enhanced inspection process to ensure a pleasant rental experience for all.

GEOGRAPHIC

Vehicles are only permitted to be driven in the states of Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and California. Mexico travel is NOT allowed.

LOCAL RENTERS

Local renters are defined as main residents of Nevada. Local renters are required to have two (2) current utility bills and one (1) most recent payroll stub. All are required to have the same address as the renter's driver's license. Local renters will pay a refundable security deposit of $500.00 plus the estimated amount of the rental. MUST PAY with a Credit Card.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, and Euro cards. Bank Issued debit cards are accepted from airline arriving customers only, with proof of full coverage insurance that transfers to the rental vehicle. International airline arriving customers must have proof of a return flight itinerary. All airline arriving customers must provide a deposit of $200.00 plus the estimated cost of the rental at the time of pick up. Local renters will pay a refundable security deposit of $500.00 plus the estimated amount of the rental. Cash payments will be accepted upon return of the vehicle at the end of the rental.

-Pay on Arrival- Credit Card Secure deposit for estimated rental charges only. Always reconfirm return date/time. Debit Card Confirm round trip flight itinerary, Secure deposit for estimated rental charges plus 200USD deposit. Always reconfirm return date/time. -Prepaid Vouchers- Credit Card - Authorize 1.00USD only if no extra charges. Take payment for additional services – LDW, up sell, PPG, etc. No added security deposit is required. -Debit Card- Secure 200.00USD deposit only if no added services. Take payment for additional services – LDW, up sell, PPG, etc + $200 deposit. Confirm round trip flight itinerary. –Locals- Debit Card not allowed 200.00USD deposit plus estimated amount of rental. Verify address by confirming utility bill/pay stub or alternate valid ID. Proof of insurance is not required to rent. -International Customers- Confirm round trip flight itinerary. No mandatory purchase of optional coverage allowed.
